3 Day Canoe Trip With Dad

Once upon a time Dad got together and together with a rest of Kickapoo Group they took their kids and went off Canoeing for 3 days. Here are the details on how we did it.
Canoeing
We got some amazing spots but here is one of our favorites and best spots to take kids canoeing.
Rent a Canoe
Great Canoes, friendly staff, gets you everything you need.
Drop Off Your Gear
It's 2.5h drive from Chicago. You drop of your gear at a landing site, and take your car to final destination where you leave it and jump on a bus.
Bus takes you up to
The bus drops you off 18miles up Mazomanie Landing, WI
Start Paddling
Take a Lunch at a sand bar
Settle for the night under the stars
Get your tent ready, and settle in. Kids will enjoy the water. Don't forget to pack a football

Best breakfast ever. For some reason kids get up at 6am to watch the sunrise.
Canoe more, chill, have a conversation
Took a break for some watermelon and cheese quesadillas
Get setup for a 2nd night
You are a pro now, get setup, cook some food. At this point you are probably leaving only enough food to get you through breakfast tomorrow.
