Earth Day, Palatine IL

Kickapoo went up to Hawthorn Woods to plant a few trees. We listened to a presentation about why planting trees are good for us and the environment. After the trees, we built bird houses and enjoyed some donuts.

Every so often, we call it "hunting season" we pick one of the Dads to be a group Leader. This year its me, and I would like to invite you to join us. My son is in 6thh grade. There is no pressure, you join when you can, kids have fun, they meet other kids, Dads meet other Dads. We all live around each other and this way we can spend some quality times together and get to know our neighbor.
My son is Rocco he goes to Bartlett Elementary. We've been in Guides for 9 years now. We love going to the great events that we do with the Kickapoo. There is always a new adventure to be had.
