Dads could not resist these tubes.
Not only did we win "the best team name" award, we had a lot of fun in a snow.
However, things would not end without a feast and a camp fire.

Other Events and Fun

2024... Bowling in Arlignton Heights. We joined our friends for a joint event: Dads and Sons and Doughters.

Dad Slot Cars - Des Plaines, IL. We were there on Saturday before it closed, and it was such a bittersweet time making those fun memories. The business, started by the late Thomas Pelletiere and then passed on to his daughter, Margaret Pelletiere, closed permanently after Sunday's final race because the building it called home since 1992 has been sold.

Imagine being on a submarine for weeks at a time. Did you know when they went under water they used these huge lead-acid (closet size) batteries we find in a car to power the whole sub. We got all the scoop, and at the end Santa came to visit on a boat. We got ourselfs a Christmas tree to take home.
